Plan field routes
Route planning in Growmax ARC lets you organize your field sales team's days: create journey plans, assign representatives to them, and view the planned visits for each rep. Reps then work the plan from their Field Sales Mobile App.
Before you start
- Set up your field sales representatives as users, and make sure customer records have addresses — including GPS coordinates for field visits. See Manage users, teams, and permissions and Manage customers.
Create a journey plan
- Go to Sales > Route Planning.
- Create a new journey plan.
- Add the customer visits to the plan.
- Assign a representative to the plan.
- Save the plan.
View planned visits per rep
- Go to Sales > Route Planning.
- Select a representative to view their planned visits.
Spot stops without a customer location
- Route Planning flags any planned stop whose customer has neither an address nor a map pin with a warning chip — the rep app can't render Directions for that stop. Add or fix the customer's address or map pin (see Manage customers) before the rep heads out.
What reps see on the road
In the Field Sales Mobile App, the rep gets:
- Their daily visit / journey plan — the planned visits for the day.
- GPS check-in and check-out at each customer location.
- Customer 360 context on the go — history, position, and details.
- Offline order capture — reps can capture orders offline, and the app syncs automatically when connectivity returns.
- Their quotes, orders, invoices, product catalog, and personal commission summary.
Tips
- Build plans around geography — customer addresses carry GPS coordinates precisely so field visits and deliveries can be routed sensibly.
- Check each rep's planned visits in Route Planning at the start of the week so workloads stay balanced across the team.
- Offline capture means a rep in a poor-connectivity area never loses an order — it syncs when they are back online.
