View stock levels

Stock levels show what you have on hand, what is reserved for open orders, and what is available to sell — per warehouse and per product variant.

Before you start

Check stock levels

  1. Go to Inventory > Stock Levels.
  2. Review quantities per warehouse and per variant:
    • On hand — what is physically in the warehouse
    • Reserved — what is committed to open orders
    • Available — what is free to sell

Stock Levels: on hand, reserved for open orders and available, per warehouse.

Use the summary and reservations views

  • Stock summary — a consolidated view of your stock.
  • Reservations view — the stock committed to open orders, so you can see exactly where reserved quantities are going.

Tips

  • If available stock is lower than expected, check the reservations view first — the difference is usually stock committed to open orders.
  • Stock changes from receipts, shipments, adjustments, and transfers are all traceable in the movement audit trail. See Track stock movements.
