releaseBidConfigModelVersion

Requires permission biddesk:assembly:manage.

Releases a draft configuration-model version. Every saved test case runs first; any failure refuses it with CONFIG_MODEL_TESTS_FAILING (failed and total counts). Then the config_model.release approval rules: with no matching rule it is released at once and the previous released version becomes obsolete; a matching rule raises an approval request (CONTROL_APPROVAL_REQUIRED). Refused with CONFIG_MODEL_VERSION_NOT_DRAFT, CONFIG_BASE_BOM_NOT_RELEASED and VERSION_CONFLICT. Requires Bid Desk with engineered products and permission to manage assemblies.

Errors: a failed call returns a GraphQL errors entry, not a field on the result, and data may be null or partial. Read the entry's extensions.code and message; every shape and code is in the Error reference.

Arguments

releaseBidConfigModelVersion.expectedVersion ● Int! non-null scalar

The version counter you loaded; a stale one is refused.

releaseBidConfigModelVersion.versionId ● ID! non-null scalar

The draft version to release.

ConfigModelVersion object

One numbered version of a configuration model: one validated definition built on a released bill-of-materials version. Only a DRAFT can be changed; RELEASED and OBSOLETE versions are fixed.
