BuyerExistsResponse

Whether a buyer account exists for an email address. If it does, the app goes to the one-time code sign in, otherwise to sign up.

Fields

BuyerExistsResponse.exists ● Boolean! non-null scalar

True when a customer with this email already exists in this tenant.

BuyerExistsResponse.selfRegistrationEnabled ● Boolean! non-null scalar

The tenant's PortalConfiguration.allowSelfRegistration toggle (default true). When exists=false: true → route to the Sign Up screen; false → show a 'registration disabled' alert and do NOT route to Sign Up.
