customerCustomFieldDefinitions

Requires a customer (portal or buyer app) session.

Lists the organization's own fields on one kind of record that the signed-in buyer may see, for the portal's and the buyer app's forms. Never staff-only or archived fields. Requires a signed-in buyer.

Errors: a failed call returns a GraphQL errors entry, not a field on the result, and data may be null or partial. Read the entry's extensions.code and message; every shape and code is in the Error reference.

Example:

query CustomerCustomFieldDefinitions($entity: String!) {
customerCustomFieldDefinitions(entity: $entity) {
id
type
archived
carryForward
defaultValue
editPermission
}
}
